Varieties

303 Premium Blend

This type is a 3-4 variety blend of 100% Kentucky Bluegrass. We select our varieties for disease resistance, color retention and reduced maintenance. All varieties used are based on positive results in national and University of Wisconsin trials. This blend of sod is grown on a lighter weight peat soil for easy handling. The 303 Premium Blend is available in 10 Sq.Ft. rolls (2'x5') or in 300 Sq.Ft. rolls (4' x 75').

This blend of sod works well for lawns or golf
courses that get at least 4 hours of sunlight a day.

Badger Blend Sod

This sod has similar varieties to our 303 Premium Blend Sod, except that it is grown on a silt loam soil, providing excellent stability for athletic fields and high traffic areas. This type of sod will also root well in clay soils.

The Badger Blend is available in 10 Sq.Ft. (2' x 5') rolls or 250 Sq.Ft. (4' x 62.5') rolls.

This blend of sod works well for the lawn or golf
course that gets at least 4 hours of sunlight a day.

Wisconsin Green Fescue Mix

This sod is a mix of fine leaf fescue and Kentucky Bluegrass. It has excellent spring green up. Improved drought tolerance and good genetic diversity in this blend provides a well balanced mix to compete against disease and adverse environmental conditions.

The Wisconsin Green Fescue Mix does well in areas with reduced or filtered sunlight. However it will not grow well in complete shade. It also blends and matches up well with existing bluegrass, fescue, ryegrass lawns quite well.

Bentgrass

Repairing a tee or fairway of an existing golf course, or constructing a new course? Then our Bentgrass is what you need. We slow cut every roll allowing the cutter head to follow the ground closely for a uniform thin cut.

We have different varieties available, which are Penncross and Penntrio. We grow our bentgrass on St. Charles silt loam soil and maintained at .25" mowing height. If you are looking for a specific variety, soil type or mowing height, please let us know and we will contract grow to meet your needs.

Repairing a tee box and want to use big rolls, let us know and we will custom cut the length of the rolls up to 75 feet.
